St Henry Catholic Church was incorporated in 1853 near the eastern shore of the Rock River. St. Henry Catholic Church was established to provide a parish for the German immigrants who settled in the area. By 1930, the church had undergone major renovation to include the installation of its famous bells. In 1962, the church was literally re-built and in 2002 underwent major interior renovation.
St. Bernard and St. Henry School merged and were previously known as Watertown Catholic School. As of August 2025, the school is now known as St. Thérèse School. This is the only school in our newly merged Parish, St. Thérèse of Lisieux. St. Henry Church is used by our parish school for school Masses and daily Masses are held in the Church. The Campus is also used by our Religious Education program in Watertown.
