Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, through which a man and a woman enter into a lifelong communion of life and love. The Church teaches that marriage is ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. As a sacrament, Christian marriage is a visible sign of the faithful love between Christ and His Church (cf. Ephesians 5:31–32).
If you are engaged and wish to celebrate your marriage at St. Bernard, St. Francis Xavier, or St. Mary Magdalene, we ask that you contact the parish office before making any wedding arrangements. One of our priests will meet with you to begin the marriage preparation process and accompany you as you prepare for this important vocation.
Couples should contact the parish at least six months before their desired wedding date.
