The Homebound Ministry is a beautiful expression of the Church’s mission to bring the presence of Christ to those who are unable to participate in Sunday Mass in person. Through this ministry, the Eucharist is brought to parishioners who are homebound, ensuring they remain closely united to the life and prayer of the Church.
Request for Holy Communion
While many of those served are senior parishioners of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our homebound ministry also reaches out to those who are ill, recovering, living with physical limitations, or in rehabilitation. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion bring the Eucharist and offer prayerful support through visits to private homes and residential care facilities. This ministry is a tangible sign of Christ’s love and the Church’s care for every member of the Body of Christ. To request a visit, please contact the parish office at 920-261-7273.
Visit from a Parish Priest
If you or a loved one is in need of a pastoral visit for the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, Confession, or other sacramental care, our parish priests are honored to serve you. Please contact the parish office at 920-261-7273 to arrange a visit.
If you are in need of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick outside of parish office hours, please still contact the parish office. When you reach the automated phone system, press “9” to reach the sacramental emergency line. If you are prompted to leave a message, please do so, and a member of our pastoral team will return your call as soon as possible.
Volunteer as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for the Homebound
If you feel called by the Holy Spirit to serve in this sacred ministry, we prayerfully invite you to consider becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to the homebound. Through this beautiful work of mercy, you will have the privilege of bringing Our Eucharistic Lord to parishioners who are unable to attend Holy Mass due to illness, age, or infirmity. Your presence and prayerful visitation can bring Christ’s peace to those most in need.
By sharing the gift of the Holy Eucharist, you become a visible witness of the Church’s care and communion with all her members. For more information about this ministry, please contact the parish office at 920-261-7273.
